This is Jalal’s GENESIS piece
Cycle of Life, originally painted in 1996, takes obvious leads from Spanish master Joan Miro’s recognisable style. Circle of Life resembles a cosmos of existence where organic forms (perhaps humans, animals and fish) glide through an undefined backdrop, guiding the eye on a circular path. The shapes themselves are timeless – some crudely rendered and others more graceful – but all swirling together in a joyful unison. The piece is an homage to life itself.
