Gold Burger

“Burger” is deliberately placed in a neutral, almost “showcase” space, devoid of any objects which could tell about the occupations and habits of the inhabitant. The inhabitant’s identity has been erased. The emphasized inconsistency between the colours and the natural coloration of the products hints to the deceptiveness of the temptations of taste: saturated smells and taste create an association with the idea of the nutrition value of food that actually poisons us. The glossy surface of the chrome-plated “burger” resembles the greasy sheen of a cheese slice and a round bun stimulates the release of gastric juice. The warm color of stainless steel and the shine from polishing hints us to the idea of the production of household items, making you contemplate the analogy between a producing conveyor and the consumer society
